Seaside House is a stunning three bed house in the heart of vibrant Whitstable. Located just off Harbour Street and only moments from the beach, historic working harbour and unique independent shops and restaurants, it is a perfect base for couples, family and friends and provides everything needed to enjoy all that Whitstable has to offer.
About
The accommodation at Seaside House is set over three floors with bedrooms on floors two and three along with a WC on floor two. The ground floor hosts the main bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining reception room - leading off the dining room is the sunny south facing garden.
The Lounge
Upon entering Seaside House, you arrive in the light and airy lounge room which has a contemporary seaside feel and hosts spacious sofa seating for up to six people. If you are visiting in winter months the wood burner fire will ensure you stay cosy and warm. Additionally, there is central heating throughout the property. The lounge room is where you will also find a selection of curated books, board games and DVDs appealing to a wide range of ages and interests.
Garden
The sunny south facing garden can be accessed via the dining room French doors where you are led under the mature pergola into the sun trap seating area, here you can enjoy al fresco dining under the parasol shade of the garden table/chairs or the garden bench is the perfect all-day sun spot for either a morning croissant or evening sundowner. The garden has festoon lighting for a magical after dark atmosphere. The small ‘beach hut’ styled shed is where you will find the BBQ, windbreak, portable parasol and of course the bucket and spades! Seaside House also benefits from secure rear gate garden access which is perfect when returning from a day at the beach or if using a pushchair.
Bathroom
Seaside House bathroom has recently been completely refurbished and stylishly designed to a high standard. It boasts a generous walk in rain shower and separate bath for a well-deserved end of day relaxing soak before wrapping yourself in one of our fluffy bath sheets.
Bedrooms
Upstairs on the first floor, the master Scandinavian styled bedroom provides a fresh and calming space complete with king size bed. Seaside House benefits from a self-contained upstairs WC which is perfect for those visiting with younger children and is located adjacent to the twin bedroom. The twin bedroom has a fun coastal feel with an artistic nod to local Whitstable points of interest. Bedroom three is accessed via the steep staircase which is typical of this period property and is on the second floor – it is a wonderfully light and airy double bedroom with fantastic views towards Harbour street.

All bedrooms have bedside tables, hanging space and/or drawers/baskets for clothes, full length mirrors, plug-in fans, hairdryers (king and double bedroom) and window shutters with blackout blind/curtains.
More information
For those wanting to stay connected whilst in Whitstable, Seaside House has fibre broadband giving great WiFi connection in all rooms/garden. The lounge room, king bedroom and double bedroom all have HD televisions that connect to the internet. The lounge room and dining room also both have ‘Roberts’ Bluetooth speakers whilst the kitchen has a DAB radio.

If you are travelling with children just let us know and we can help lessen the packing load. Seaside House has a travel cot (please provide your own cot bedding), high chair, bed guard, floor one fixed retractable stair gate, window safety catch on the twin bedroom window and child friendly plates/cups and cutlery. There is also a fun toy cupboard which our own little people have helped to create for your littles ones to enjoy.

To the front of Seaside House there is free street parking and a pay and display car park less than a minute walk away. Seaside House location is also an easy 10 minute walk to Whitstable train station with regular direct trains from London.
